Upload rules

This article may give you hints when your uploaded data are not shown as expected.

Rule 1: Incomplete uploads are rejected

If the submitted tracklist contains incomplete data (e.g. only artist and title and no track data entered), it won't be uploaded to the threeTIX server.

Rule 2: The most recent upload is shown on next download

If there was already different information about a CD, the previous one will be deactivated and the latest version will be shown.

Rule 3: Multiple versions will be edited

To offer best info, I periodically edit multiple versions manually(!). After decission, I select a version (or a mix of the uploaded and previous data) and make that the active one.

Rule 4: Natural spell is prefered

When editing, I prefer for example "The Beatles" instead of "Beatles, the" - that band never used the name in the second way ;-).
